Announcements for August 8th
Just a couple announcements to make before the tournament.
Tee times start at 9, so people ought to plan to get there at least by 8:30 or so. Check in will be before we tee off. Everyone will pay their own green fees ($40) at the clubhouse, and then pay the $25 (cash or check)fee to the person at check in. You will receive your gift bag after checking in. If you don’t know where the course is,,, google it.
We appreciate everyone that has donated this year and in the past. We use the donations as prizes and for the raffle at the end to make it fun for people to possibly win a prize
We will not have a professional photographer out there to capture moments throughout the day, so we encourage everyone to bring a camera and take photos and video to add to the post tournament slideshow that we'll post on the site.
Instructions for the contests will be handed out at check in. Then we will take some minutes after playing to award the prizes and congratulate the winners and cool down with drinks and such.
The team colors seem to be a big hit and so we’ll continue with that tradition. We are setting the dress code for this year’s tournament as Khaki shorts (or pants depending on whether you have your tour card or not) and the colored collared shirt of your team’s color. As far as grooming, we are asking that everyone be clean shaven, and hair maintained at an appropriate length (no, just kidding on the grooming).
Teams will be announced very shortly so stayed tuned here on the site or on your cellular.
